We support international students, researchers and employees from their first preparations before arrival through settling in at CTU and living in Prague.
Whether you are joining CTU as a student, researcher, academic or staff member, we are delighted to welcome you to our vibrant international community.
According to the latest published annual report, there are over 3,000 international students at CTU (20%) coming from more than 100 different countries. Over 600 international employees, ranging from academic and research positions to support stuff found their home at CTU.
Moving to a new country and university can be exciting but also challenging. The Welcome Office is here to help you prepare for your arrival, settle into life at CTU and navigate the practical aspects of living and working in the Czech Republic.
Our services include information on immigration, accommodation, health insurance, registration requirements, university services, everyday life in Prague, and referrals to the appropriate university departments.
Thanks to several initiatives, including Project ČVUT_Impuls and Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), we are building support system to help you make the most out of your stay at CTU.
