Information for ATHENS incoming students to Prague (November 2021)

Starting time and place of ATHENS week:

Saturday November 13, 12:45 – Welcome Meeting at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU in Prague
location: CTU in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Technická 2, Prague 6 – Dejvice, meeting place in front of the building (for late-comers: room 209)

During the orientation meeting you will have to pay 1000 CZK (app. 40 EUR) in cash for the European Dimension Activities. We only accept payments in Czech crowns.

Exchange rate: 1 EUR = approx. 25,4 CZK

 

IMPORTANT! Entry to the Czech Republic:

Please check the attached flyer, which provides rules for entry to the Czech Republic.

Check the current list of countries to see whether the country in which you are resident is currently categorized as low/medium/high/very high risk:  https://www.mvcr.cz/mvcren/article/coronavirus-information-of-moi.aspx and follow the rules.

IMPORTANT: If the country in which you are resident falls into the category of high or very high risk, you need to be vaccinated to enter the Czech Republic (otherwise you would need to self-isolate for 5 days after arrival, and then get tested).

Please note that the categories can change. Make sure that you check this Ministry of the Interior website for any updates (check that the country in which you are resident and any country via which you travel has not been moved into a different category), and make sure you follow the rules for entry.

  • Sunday, November 14, 13:15 – Prague Discovery Game, unusual sightseeing in a form of a special GAME for groups which ends by a dinner at a secret place – organized by CTU students.
